What changed for Part One?
The shorter version of Part One previously in Annex A has been removed. Schools should ensure all staff read Part One in full, including those who do not work directly with children. The new overview is a companion to that reading.

Pupil education
Paragraphs 156–158 connect staff training with curriculum planning and teaching children how to keep themselves and others safe online, with learning tailored to their needs.
Filtering and monitoring
Paragraph 173 sets out an annual effectiveness review, with checks and records. Course completion is separate from this operational review.
